We will always help our patients in ways to help keep their spine safe and functioning properly. Now we will jump into this information to help those who do not visit a chiropractor. Although I think it is a god idea that you should at least go once a month. When you are about to do something for an extended amount of time especially when it is outdoors, and it is cold outside you want to do a warmup for about 5 to 10 minutes. You may ask how long I mean by ìextended amount of timeî I will say if it is 30 minutes or more, but only if you are going to be doing something like yard work. If you are going out there just to enjoy the cool breeze, then you do not have to stretch but do if you are actively going to do something. You may want to start with something light and slow then move into bigger movements when it comes to stretching. You may ask well what are some good Top Sugar Land Chiropractors stretches or exercises. Like I said start off slow so some arm circles will be good. This one is very good because you will be ripping your garden apart or trimming trees or raking this uses your arm muscles, and it can also help reduce soreness after a long day of cutting those branches. Other good exercises will be body squats and or lunges this will help because you will probably be squatting down every so often or climbing up and down a ladder when dealing with the trees. Shoulder exercises, hamstring stretches and exercises for Top Sugar Land Chiropractors spine rotation are helpful. My favorite stretch for my spine is when you lay down on the floor in a ìTî position. Legs straight out toes pointing to the ceiling or sky depending on where you are and your arms out as I said previously as if you are making a ìTî. Then you are going to bring one leg to your chest keeping the other one where it is. Using the opposite hand to the leg you brought up to your chest you are going to place your hand behind your knee cap. Now bring that leg to the side of the arm you are using. When you do this stretch your head is on the ground and not lifted. Also, make sure your shoulder is not coming off the ground. Then hold for about 15 to 20 seconds then lead you leg to the center so your hips can center themselves. I do not know the name to this Top Sugar Land Chiropractors stretch but personally it is my favorite one to do for my spine. It is that time of the year the leaves start to fall off the trees. Rake safely!
